Durga Rajah is interested in the formal and material aspects of photography, and in its potential as a reflective medium. She explores performative strategies which imbricate subjecthood within the photographic process and reevaluates photography's role in Conceptual Art. Durga has earned a Master of Visual Studies (Studio Art) with Academic Honours at the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photography Studies) with Academic Distinction at Toronto Metropolitan University.
